Learn the secrets of a well made stained glass box. You’ll learn to make a box with a simple hinge. You’ll be amazed at the beautiful boxes you can make with glass. This is a fast paced class, so students must be confident in their skills.
Prerequisite: Competency in Copper Foil Technique
Required items
1st Week: Cutting tools, running pliers, safety glasses, paper towels 2nd Week: Bring foiled pieces pinned to white board Soldering Iron & Stand (or Rent) Solder, Flux, Flux Cup, Brush White Board Push Pins & Layout Guides Wedgies (if owned) Chemicals (Patina, Flux Cleaner, Polish) Nitrile Gloves & Polishing Cloth Paper Towels & Hand Towel Kevlar Gloves (optional)
