Fused Wind Chimes

Catch the breeze and elevate your glass art with our 3-Week Intermediate Fused Glass Windchime Workshop. In this fast-paced intermediate class, you will choose from our studio-approved patterns and dive straight into cutting your glass during Week 1. Your homework will be to finish cutting and grinding your pieces before Week 2—meaning you must use your own grinder at home or pay to schedule an extra studio session. During the second week, you will assemble your layout and engineer the high-temp wire loops for the kiln, followed by Week 3 where you will string, balance, and complete your finished musical masterpiece. Because this is an advanced project, independent glass-cutting skills and grinder access are strict prerequisites, and students must supply their own unique hanging support such as driftwood, a corbel, or branches. Bring your own decorative beads. Price includes tuition, high temp wire, beading wire & crimps, and one firing.
